Raleigh Durham, NC, October 13, 2026 —
Shohei Ohtani is expected to be in the Los Angeles Dodgers’ lineup for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Milwaukee Brewers, according to the available information. The update places Ohtani in the Dodgers’ expected lineup for the next game in the series, but does not confirm the final lineup.
The information provided does not specify when or where Game 3 will be played, Ohtani’s position in the batting order, or who supplied the lineup expectation. It also does not include details about the reason for the expectation or any changes to the Dodgers’ plans. No further information about the game or the series was provided.
The distinction between an expected lineup and a confirmed one remains important: the summary describes Ohtani as expected to play, rather than stating that the Dodgers have formally announced their lineup. It does not give a status update beyond that expectation. The available details also do not address whether other players are expected to be in or out of the lineup.
For now, the reported development is limited to Ohtani’s anticipated place in the Dodgers’ lineup against Milwaukee in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series. Additional specifics—including the final lineup and game details—were not included in the information provided.
