Hyperfine, Inc. The July 2026 issue of the Journal of Neurosurgery featured cases performed in an ambulatory neurosurgery center in which the Swoop system provided access to imaging immediately following endovascular neurosurgical procedures, confirming the absence of findings such as acute ischemic or intracranial hemorrhage and thus enabling same-day discharge. Rapid evaluation of the cause of post-procedural neurological deficits is critical, and post-operative neuroimaging plays a central role in detecting complications and guiding clinical decision-making. Conventional MRI is often impractical or untimely, making the Swoop system uniquely positioned to bring value in the neurosurgical setting.
In addition, Stroke, one of the premier journals in cerebrovascular disease, recently published a collection of articles highlighting the value of low-field MRI across the stroke continuum, including pre-hospital stroke care, acute stroke, neurocritical care, and cerebral small vessel disease.
