Faith-based ministry brings people together from across the country for a shared time of prayer every Monday evening at 7 PM EST.

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — For centuries, Christians have gathered in churches, homes and communities to pray together. Mary Lives is bringing that sense of shared prayer into the digital age, using Zoom to create an accessible, welcoming space where people can gather in faith from wherever they are. Every Monday at 7 p.m. Eastern, Mary Lives hosts a live Rosary on Zoom, inviting Christians from across the country to pause, pray and connect through a shared devotion to Jesus Christ and His mother, Mary.

Unlike a prerecorded prayer or livestream, the Mary Lives Rosary is designed to feel like a true gathering. Participants join at the same time and pray together in real time, creating a growing community centered on faith, connection and a desire to grow closer to Christ.

“At its heart, prayer has always been about connection: connection with God and connection with one another,” said Peter Sesso, founder of Mary Lives. “Zoom gives us a way to remove some of the barriers that might prevent someone from joining a prayer community. You can participate from your living room, while traveling or from wherever you happen to be that Monday night.”

The virtual format makes group prayer more accessible for those who may not otherwise be able to participate in person, including people who are homebound, traveling, caring for children or simply looking for a welcoming way to make prayer a more regular part of their lives.

Participants do not need to be experienced in praying the Rosary. Those who are new to the prayer, returning after time away or simply curious about the tradition are invited to join and follow along.

“You don’t need to have the right words or know every prayer,” Sesso said. “You can simply show up. That invitation is really at the center of what we’re trying to build.”

Mary Lives was created to help people deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through His mother, Mary. In addition to its weekly Zoom Rosary, the ministry shares personal stories of faith, conversations, videos and resources designed to encourage prayer and make Marian devotion approachable in everyday life.

At a time when technology can often leave people feeling more disconnected, Mary Lives is using it to do the opposite: bring Christians together around a centuries-old tradition of shared prayer.

The Mary Lives Rosary takes place every Monday at 7:00 p.m. EST on Zoom. Those interested in joining can visit MaryLives.com and select “Pray the Rosary With Us.”
