NPI, a leading provider of data-driven IT procurement intelligence and advisory solutions, today announced the appointment of Susan Marty as Chief Go-to-Market Officer. Marty will lead NPI’s integrated go-to-market strategy and help accelerate the company’s ability to equip enterprises with the intelligence, leverage, and confidence they need to achieve stronger IT buying outcomes.
Marty will oversee marketing and product marketing, demand generation, channel growth, enterprise sales enablement, and market expansion. She will work across product, marketing, sales, finance, IT, and operations to strengthen commercial alignment and create clearer market pathways.
“Susan’s appointment reflects the next stage of NPI’s growth and our commitment to helping enterprise technology buyers make smarter, more confident decisions,” said Emily Shapiro, COO, NPI. “Her ability to connect market insight, product strategy, customer needs, and commercial execution will help us deliver even greater value to the organizations we serve.”
“NPI’s mission has always been to give technology buyers the leverage they need to achieve better outcomes,” said Jon Winsett, CEO, NPI. “Susan’s leadership will help us bring that mission to more customers and continue building the disciplined go-to-market engine required for the next chapter in our growth history.”
Marty brings extensive executive leadership experience across go-to-market strategy, end-to-end product management, marketing, sales, strategic alliances, technology, customer engagement, and business transformation. Most recently, she spent eight years as an executive with the Institute for Supply Management (ISM), where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer. During her tenure, Marty helped develop and commercialize new products and services, expand strategic alliances, strengthen customer engagement, and advance marketing and sales capabilities.
She was also actively involved in initiatives that advanced the procurement and supply management profession, including ISM’s Thought Leadership Council and Practice Committees, the Trailblazer Awards and Gala, the Richter Scholarship Program, and the 30 Under 30 program. Earlier in her career, Marty held senior leadership roles with WorldatWork, Inter-Tel, Voice Access Technologies, OmniSky, and AT&T Wireless.
“NPI has built a strong reputation, differentiated capabilities, and exceptional customer relationships,” said Marty. “I couldn’t be more excited to join the team at such an important point in the company’s growth. I look forward to listening to our customers, building on the strengths already in place, and bringing our go-to-market capabilities together around a clear strategy and disciplined execution. We have a tremendous opportunity to expand NPI’s reach and help even more customers bring leverage and confidence to complex technology buying decisions.”
